MY Hometown

My hometown of Harrisburg has an iconic gazebo and an old wall both known for their historic qualities. The Majority of the Harrisburg High school students take their prom and senior pictures at this location.

My hometown is settled right by the Willamette River. The river is a popular place, especially during the 4th of July when there is well known town festivities and the weather is very hot.

This is the old swimming hole next to the river, this swimming hole is partially outlawed. people used to swing off a rope attached to a tree, into the water, until community members complained enough about the dangers of this swimming hole now almost no body swims here :(

Week 1 Forum

Week 1

I am a Human who is majoring in Journalism and mass Communications. I am taking this class because I enjoy capturing the beauty of people and hearing their stories. I have taken pictures for a radio station I worked for in Caldwell Idaho.

I have the goals of Learning how to talk to people, my number one goal is successfully finishing my major and getting my dream job back.

People at schools these days seem to like the drama of arguing diversity and other social debatable topics. Take pictures of people brawling, seems to be a eat up able story.

List THREE subjects or ideas, including a little bit about the subject. 

Here's an example: LBCC baseball -- The LBCC baseball team plays its next game on Saturday. I could shoot photos before, during and after the game, including shots of the action and crowd reactions.

lbcc security people -- the lBCC Security team has a job that can be unpredictable day by day. I could shoot photos of them looking serious and performing strange tasks.

Lbcc sports-- sports can be very intense and fast. I could catch the team and the intensity of the raging cheering crowd.

Lbcc the commuter-- for people who are curious but shy, there could be an article about how the commuter works, and who are the people behind it.
